Interview with O’Toole – Summer Edition

Coach O’Toole:
SORSN: Of course fitness is the primary focus during early summer practices but are there anything different/new drills that you and the other coaches plan on introducing this summer?

Justin: Yeah we changed our format of practice a little bit to improve foot speed and team speed with agility circuits and we can notice improvements each day that we do them. It also helps with our conditioning in practicing.

SORSN: Do you see something positive on this 2005 squad that you haven’t had on previous teams?

Justin: We have a good mix of experience in some areas and lack of experience in others, if everybody comes together and works hard them there’s a chance we can have a good season. But we need to make sure that everybody works hard.

SORSN: SORSN has learned that you have purchased a new home on River Road, in the Blue Springs Marina area. SORSN would like to throw you a House Warming Party. What do you need for your new residence? Have you been contacted about doing a “Trading Spaces” episode with Coach Mike Hayes?

Justin: You name it and I need it but nothing to heavy please, I’m afraid the floors will fall in.

They called last week but I turned down the opportunity. I’m scared I’ll be working up there and his neighbor, Shillings, will be mowing his yard with his shirt off!!!

SORSN: Mike Hayes recently purchased an i-Pod, capable of storing and playing thousands of songs. Were you aware of the technical expertise that he poses? What do you suppose the first 3 songs on his i-Pod are?

Justin:
3) “Baby Got Back”
2) “(I wanna) Be Like Mike”
1) “We fired our guns and the British kep’a comin” (actual name not known – but was a mandatory song to be heard in his class)
