This week we should get back on our feet but our boys need to know there will not be one person at this ballgame who wants to get a win against Midway more then Oakdale’s coach, Chip Strickland. As a lot of people know, Chip is a fierce competitor and he would love to notch one in the victory column this week. Changing the subject, this week I heard one person who had not been to a Greenwave game in years tell another person, ‘I can’t believe it, they were actually tailgating down there’. Well believe it, I seen it with my own eyes and quite a spread at that. It was shrimp, wraps, chicken fingers, salsa and chips, and desserts. Many thanks to everyone involved in starting another great Midway tradition.
