The Waves got win #2 last week at Jellico and have sights on #3 this Friday when they travel to Tellico Plains to take on the 0-6 Bears. With the exception of a 2-point loss to Harriman, Tellico has been thumped each week.

It would be great to get another win this week and hopefully the Green team can pull it off, but something tells me Tellico pulls this one out at home.

It’s rhyme time in Wave land. Last week we played “Jellico” (can someone tell me what’s a Jellico?) and this week we play “Tellico”.
I’m not sure I know what a Tellico is either, man I need someone to explain. 🙂
Anyway, last year these two played to decided who would be best at being worst. Midway won that game in that respect as Tellico took the victory in a hard fought battle. Make sense?
This year I think there is a bit more in the Green tank.

Despite the off-field issues, I got Midway picking up the win against Tellico and getting their first district win.

This may be a great game to watch. Tellico lost to Harriman in OT because they missed s field goal at the end of regulation. What would Midways record be if they had played Tellico’s schedule? Geenback, Sweetwater, Coalfield, Harriman, and Sequoyah? This one, I think will go down to the wire with Clower catching a TD pass from Viar to win the game! Go big Green!
